HEAD SCRATCHING AT HENDRICK

Has Hendrick been scratching his head since Kyle Busch left? 
 
So far it's Kyle's year.  He is a dominating force in every series. In the Nationwide Series he has placed 2nd twice and is now currently in 3rd place by only 74 points.

In the Craftsman Truck Series he has placed 2nd, 1st and 1st, putting him in the lead by 72 points.

In the Sprint Cup Series he has placed 4th, 4th, 11th and 1st, putting him in the lead by 73 points. Can he win all three series? For anyone who follows the sport, we know this is a TALL order, but you have to admit, the kid’s numbers are impressive.   
 
It kinda makes me wonder how well would the Hendrick team be doing had it been Casey Mears that left instead of Busch. Mears is in 30th position -334 while Busch sits on top. Mears also has an average finish of 26.8 vs Kyle's 5.0!  Busch has also led 329 laps so far this year in the Sprint Cup Series.

It’s still early in the year and anything can happen, but if it were my team I would be rubbing my head BALD by now!

The next race is at Bristol. Busch has 1 win in the Sprint Cup Series and an average finish of 13.5, but out of the last four races his average is 5.0 after placing 8^th, 2^nd, 1^st and 9^th.

In the Nationwide Series, Busch has raced 8 races earning 1 pole, 1 win, 5 top 5’s, 6 top 10’s, 188 laps led. His average start is 9.3 and average finish is 7.4!

I don’t know about you, or even Mr. Hendrick, but I think I’d be out buying some Rogaine for my head rubbin’ and some Rolaids for my ulcer!
